I am a PhD student in the Department of Earth & Environment at Boston University, advised by Professor Ian Sue Wing. My research concerns the economics of climate risk, and in particular the mechanisms through which tropical cyclones and extreme flooding translate into mortality, economic loss and social burden, together with the ways households and regional economies adapt in their aftermath.

My work combines general equilibrium modeling with parcel- and household-level data, tracing disaster impacts through infrastructure failure, power outages and healthcare disruption. Prior to Boston University, I studied Agricultural and Applied Economics and Environmental Studies at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
